Zachary D. Schwartz
is a research engineer in the Electron and Optical Devices Branch
at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Glenn Research
Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, Ohio. His research interests
include semiconductor devices for high-temperature applications
and the design of novel left-handed metamaterials.
Mr. Schwartz earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees
in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
Upon graduation, he joined Analex Corporation at NASA Glenn.
Mr. Schwartz is a member of Tau Beta Pi. He was the recipient of
the 2002 Case Western Reserve award given by the Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Eta Kappa Nu to the outstanding
senior in electrical engineering.
