Okechukwu Mezu is a computer engineer
with the Satellite Networks and Architectures Branch at the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
He has a diverse background in networks and communications.
He has worked extensively on QoS schemes, network and MAC layer protocols,
network simulations, hardware, space communications and
aeronautics projects and most recently Constellation related projects.
He was one of the principal network engineers actively
supporting projects in interplanetary communication,
lunar surface communications, data modeling, and has
led numerous efforts in simulation and emulation test-beds.
Mr. Mezu earned his bachelor of
science degree in 2000 and a master of science degree in electrical
engineering in 2004 both from Morgan State University.
His area of research was in ad-hoc networks. He is currently working on a
doctorate in electrical engineering.
