a member of the Communication System Integration Branch of the Communications
Division at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's
Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Foore
is an electrical engineer with skills in modeling, analyzing, and
designing wireless link layer protocols and systems tailored to
carry packet-based data. This has involved detailed work at all
levels of the communications stack, including but not limited to
mobile radio channel modeling, development of optimized automatic
repeat/request (ARQ) and segmentation/reassembly schemes, antenna
control algorithms, digital design, embedded systems and real-time
operating system (RTOS) software designs, transmission control protocol/Internet
protocol (TCP/IP), improvement and analysis, and various application
studies.
Mr. Foore has a number of publications, including 4 U.S. patents. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently near completion of his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
