Janette C. Briones is a computer engineer for the Digital Communications Branch of the Communication Division at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, OH. She is currently responsible for Space Telecommunication Radio System research supporting the Space Communications and Data Systems (SCDS) Project.

Ms Briones earned her Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and her Master of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. She completed most of her Ph.D. coursework focused on Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic from the University of Texas at El Paso.
