HTTP Testing
We are currently testing HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1 over the ACTS satellite channel by using a number of different parameters (various TCP window sizes, HTTP options, etc.). The results of this work will aid the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF)'s TCP Over Satellite Working Group in making recommendations regarding HTTP. We are working in conjunction with Ohio University.
